Mr. Guthrie brings over twenty years of accounting experience to the Darin Guthrie, CPA, PLLC team, including twelve years as a Certified Public Accountant specializing in audit, attestation and tax services for not-for-profit entities and cannabis businesses, among others. He also brings sixteen years of experience with audits performed in accordance with Government Auditing Standards and Arizona charter school audits.

In the past year, Mr. Guthrie has managed and coordinated all audit and attestation services provided by the firm for 20 clients. Industries served include homeowners’ associations, charter schools, cannabis businesses, faith-based organizations, health and human service organizations, manufacturing, retail, and more. He has also assisted organizations in obtaining tax-exempt status and resolving tax issues with the IRS.

Mr. Guthrie’s background also includes experience with compilation, payroll, sales and use tax, and income tax services for non-public companies, not-for-profit organizations, religious organizations, and educational organizations, and four years of experience as a private investigator.

Mr. Guthrie is up-to-date with all continuing education requirements for state licensing, as well as for audits performed in accordance with Government Auditing Standards (GAO Yellow Book).
